An Enterprise AI Infrastructure Partnership.
A multi-year engagement to design, build, and operate the intelligent infrastructure that will carry XL Specialized Trailers beyond its current $100M platform — and into its next stage of growth.
The next stage
Over the last five years, XL Specialized Trailers has grown from roughly $40M to $100M. The next stage of growth is no longer a demand problem — it is a question of capacity and throughput.
Scaling beyond $100M requires more than additional software. It requires operational leverage.
Discovery across engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, and leadership surfaced a clear pattern: XL has world-class people and product, held back by the friction of operating on systems built for a smaller, simpler business.
This proposal is the commercial companion to the Discovery document — how Craft Digital and XL will work together to unlock capacity, throughput, and operational leverage as the business continues to scale.
One partnership. Build, operate, and advise — together.
This recommendation is grounded in discovery across engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, and leadership. The opportunities identified are not isolated projects — they are interconnected: engineering standardization accelerates manufacturing; manufacturing visibility improves customer communication; better operational data strengthens every AI capability; and modern dealer and customer platforms reduce friction across the business.
Engineering as a throughput multiplier.
One of the clearest levers surfaced during discovery — echoed directly by Stuart and Tim — is standardizing common trailer configurations, reducing unnecessary engineering review on repeatable builds, and releasing production packages to manufacturing faster. Engineering can then focus on high-value custom work. This is an organizational throughput opportunity, not an engineering problem.
An estimated six to nine months to stand up the full platform.
Discovery gave us a strong picture of the work — but complex integrations always surface unknowns. We won't promise what we can't yet see; we will commit to the cadence, the transparency, and the outcomes that make the timeline real.
The operational infrastructure, integrations, and enterprise platforms defined in the discovery scope — delivered end-to-end.
Continuous optimization, governance, and expansion of the platform as capacity and throughput compound.
Embedded strategic advisory to leadership on where the next unit of organizational leverage will come from.
Each platform below is a discrete workstream within the engagement, fully documented in the Discovery & Scope. Together they form XL's operational infrastructure.
- 01Enterprise Intelligence PlatformXL BrainThe central knowledge and reasoning layer. Unifies data across M2M, engineering, manufacturing, and operations so leadership and staff can ask questions, surface insights, and make decisions on a single source of truth.
- 02Dealer Experience PlatformDealer PortalA modern portal for XL's dealer network — order status, spec sheets, quoting, service requests, warranty, and parts — replacing email and phone-based coordination with a single, always-available system.
- 03Customer Experience PlatformAI Voice + ServiceAI voice agent and connected service surfaces for parts, service, order status, and general inquiries — answering common calls, routing complex ones, and freeing the team for high-value customer work.
- 04Executive & Operational SurfacesDashboardsReal-time executive dashboards and operational tooling that turn the underlying data into daily decisions on the floor, in the office, and in the boardroom.
- 05M2M as System of RecordFoundationHardening M2M as the authoritative source of business data, with the integrations and governance required to power every platform above.
One engagement. Two commitments.
The work required to unlock XL's next stage of capacity is a defined scope — not a menu. Below is the full engagement: what it costs to stand up the operational infrastructure, and what it costs to keep compounding the return.

Exactly what XL will be invoiced.
Two payment structures are offered. Both cover the same engagement — the $650,000 implementation and the $30,000/month partnership. Choose the cadence that fits XL's cash flow.
25% of implementation at signing, remaining balance spread across six equal monthly tranches. Partnership continues thereafter.
A short path from decision to work in progress.
The steps below can be completed in a matter of weeks. Kickoff follows executive alignment on scope and the confirmation of Made2Manage access.

This engagement is not about delivering software.
It is about building the operational foundation — the capacity, leverage, and connected systems — that will carry XL Specialized Trailers beyond $100M and into its next stage of sustainable growth.
